Squad Game is a chain game based on the popular Netflix series, Squid Game. In line with the worldwide release of Squid Game Season 2 on December 26, SEND Arcade has decided to release the second installment of Squad Game.

According to Magic Eden, Squad Game is an entirely online “interactive survival game” in which more than 450 players participate in a series of challenges spanning three weeks starting in January 2025. Similar to how Netflix’s Squid Game works, the prize pool will continue to grow as more players are eliminated.

During the first round of Squad Game, players must choose one of four symbols: a circle, a triangle, a star or an umbrella. The symbol with the lowest number of choices will become the symbol of death and the players who chose it will be eliminated.

The second round is called Red Light, Red Light, echoing one of Squid Game’s iconic rounds where a giant doll takes down players who make a move in a twisted version of freeze tag. This round and those that follow are still closed compared to the last Squad Game in September, with a list of winners still displayed in a leaderboard.

It is still unclear whether the sequel will feature the same games or if new ones will be introduced. Squid Game Season 2 is known to feature games old and new, so it’s possible that Squad Games will follow in its footsteps again.
