Crypto.com adds stock and ETF trading for U.S. Users

Crypto.com has launched stock and ETF trading for some US users, marking a significant expansion beyond cryptocurrency.

The new feature allows users to buy, sell and transfer stocks and exchange-traded funds through the Crypto.com application. Initially available in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Washington and Arizona, the platform plans to roll out the service nationally.

Users can trade commission-free and access fractional shares, providing more flexibility for investors.

Crypto.com’s adventure in TradFi

To promote the new service, Crypto.com is offering users up to 3% bonus for transferring securities to the app during a limited promotional period.

The announcement aligns with Crypto.com’s broader strategy to integrate traditional financial products with its crypto offerings. The platform also plans to introduce equity options trading, as well as currency, commodity and index derivatives later this year.

Crypto.com recently dropped its lawsuit against the US SEC, challenging its authority over certain digital assets. The decision came after a meeting between Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, and President-elect Donald Trump, during which they discussed crypto-friendly policies, including a proposed national Bitcoin reserve.
