Ripple has pledged $100,000 in XRP to aid the recovery efforts of communities affected by the ongoing wildfires in California.

The donation will benefit the nonprofits World Central Kitchen and GiveDirectly, focusing on both immediate relief and long-term recovery support.

The contribution, facilitated by crypto philanthropy platform The Giving Block, is expected to double its impact thanks to a matching commitment from entrepreneur Jared Isaacman.

Ripple (XRP) highlighted its commitment to supporting disaster relief through cryptocurrency donations, highlighting the growing role of blockchain in charitable giving.
