NFT sales see 5.8% bump from last week, Azuki at the top


NFT market momentum was evident this week, alongside broader gains in crypto, as Bitcoin surpassed $103,000.

Data from CoinMarketCap shows that the overall crypto market capitalization increased to $3.6 trillion, up from $3.3 trillion last week.

Bitcoin (BTC) NFTs, meanwhile, fell 10.9% to $27.5 million, although buyer participation climbed 174.98% to 23,827.

According to CryptoSlam DataNFT sales volume reached $164.3 million, up 5.8% from last week. The market saw a strong return from traders, with the number of buyers and sellers more than doubling.

Weekly measurements show renewed market activity:

  • NFT sales volume increased from $155.4 million to $164.3 million.
  • NFT buyers jumped 115.49% to 270,108
  • NFT sellers increased by 107.81% to 218,676
  • Transactions fell 4.58% to 1,466,206

Blockchain networks are growing

Ethereum (ETH) NFT sales soared 40% to $85.6 million, with the number of buyers up 52.54% to 37,913. Wash trading increased 49% to 39.2 million of dollars.

Solana (GROUND) fell to third place with $14.6 million, down 30.8%. Mythos Chain is in fourth place with $12.7 million, up 2.1%.

Base remained fifth with $8.3 million, up 13.82%.

Azuki dethrones the Chubby Penguins

Azuki took first place with $15.4 million in sales, a jump of 268.21%. The collection saw the number of buyers increase by 253.45% and transactions by 272.83%.

Pudgy Penguins fell to second place with $8.0 million, down 8.04%. CryptoPunks took third place with $7.8 million, up 126.31%.

BRC-20 NFTs fell to fourth place with $7.6 million, down 7.79%. DMarket rounds out the top five with $7.5 million, up 4.64% while maintaining high volume with 271,785 transactions.
