ANIME gets Binance airdrop ahead of new listing

The Azuki-backed ANIME token will be distributed to Binance users ahead of its official listing and debut on January 23, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. UTC.

Animecoin ANIME community token will debut on January 23 on a number of major exchanges, including Binance. The token named after the Japanese The pop culture phenomenon will be parachuted onto BNB (BNB) holders subscribed to BNB Simple Earn products from January 17 to January 20.

ANIME will officially be listed on Binance starting January 23 at 2:00 p.m. UTC. Trading pairs support will be available for ANIME alongside USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY. However, due to its status as a newly launched token, Binance will add the seed tag to ANIME.

For the HODLer Airdrop, Binance will offer 500 million ANIME tokens, approximately 5% of the maximum token supply. Animecoin will launch on Ethereum (ETH) and arbitration (ARA) with 50.5% of the tokens allocated to the community and over 20% going to the team, advisors and company.

Besides Binance, Animecoin is also expected to be listed simultaneously on Bybit And OKX is January. 23.

What is ANIME on crypto?

ANIME or Animecoin is the native token of the Animecoin Foundation, the community supported by the Arbitrum Foundation and the popular NFT brand Azuki. Dubbed the “cultural piece of the anime industry,” the Animecoin ecosystem seeks to combine original IP works, mainstream distribution, and on-chain infrastructure that will empower anime fandom to grow further.

The ANIME token will be used as a gas and governance token for Animechain, its anime-based web3 network expected to go live in the first quarter of 2025. The project will bring various anime-related content from IPs original and third-party content, including games, merchandise and NFTs.

The Animecoin Foundation has prepared a total token supply of 10 billion ANIME tokens and an initial circulating supply of 7.69 billion ANIME.
