ANIME launching on South Korea’s Upbit Jan. 23

The native token of the Animecoin community should make its South Korean debut via Upbit on January 23 at 10:00 pm KST after the list on Binance.

According to a recent notice,, Bit Will launch the token inspired by the Japanese pop culture phenomenon from January 23 at 10:00 p.m. kst. THE South Korean Crypto Exchange will provide a commercial support for anime associated with the Korean Won, Bitcoin and Tether. The token will be available on the arbitrum (ARB) network.

Merchants can start to drop and remove anime at 10 p.m. kst. Upbit will announce the start of the support for transactions later. However, due to the newly launched token status, the Crypto Exchange warned the traders that the token may not have enough liquidity to guarantee a stable trading experience.

“Upbit will provide additional information on the exchange support period via this 1 hour notice before the time of commercial support after the guarantee of sufficient liquidity in the scholarship,” said Upbit in the opinion.

The purchase orders for the anime will be limited to approximately 5 minutes after the negotiation departures, while the sales orders are limited for an hour. The basic price of the animecoin token will be announced an hour before the official start.

Animecoin is also listed on other major crypto exchanges, including Binance, Bybit and OKX on January 23.

According to the official description, the anime is an “coin of the culture of the animated industry” intended to solve problems which afflict the animation industry such as the experience of fragmented consumers, the limited participation of Fans and obsolete monetization models using a creative web3 creative network belonging to the community.

The anime will be used as a gas and governance token for Animechain, the community web3 network planned to be posted in the first quarter of 2025. The project promises to introduce a series of original and third party content, Including games, goods and NFT.

The Animecoin Foundation has prepared a total offer of chips of 10 billion anime tokens and an initial circulating offer of 7.69 billion anime. About 50.5% of the total tokens supply will be allocated to the community and more than 20% will go to the team and the company.
