TON teams up with cross-chain bridge LayerZero to get access to 100+ chains
Blockchain developers using the tons stack can now deploy tokens with more than 100 networks via the Layerzero infrastructure.
Cross -changing bridge protocol Palette has united its forces with the open network (TONNE) – also known as Just Tone – in order to advance the interoperability of the blockchain, Ton Foundation announced in a press release shared with Crypto.News.
At the beginning, the integration of Layerzero will only support 12 networks, including Ethereum (Ethn), Solana (GROUND), and Tron (Trx), although the number of chains sustained should grow over time. With the latest partnership, users of the Ton ecosystem can transfer assets like Stablecoin de Tether (USDT) and other tokens directly at the Ton Blockchain via Stargate, an exchange protocol.
“By connecting tone to a wide variety of other channels, developers now have all the tools they need to create decentralized applications for a really global audience.”
Max PERTSOVSKIY, chief of the farm at the Ton Foundation
Layerzero also launched FUNC ++, a new tool to simplify development on the TON network. The tool is designed to facilitate blockchain developers to work with the tone programming language and create transversal applications. For the context, the Ton itself was originally written in C ++.
The partnership comes as a cryptographic community expressed frustration on TelegramThe decision to make your exclusive blockchain for its mini applications. At the end of January, telegram revealed That all the mini applications and games supported by Crypto-Dossage should use tone and the Ton Connect protocol, eliminating other blockchains. This decision quickly sparked criticism, some saying that Telegram transforms its ecosystem into a “enclosed garden”, restricting access to other networks.
