Story Protocol officially launched his Public Mainnet following a six -month test.

History protocol, a layer 1 Blockchain, announced the launch of its main audience, marking the very first world market and programmable for IP. The platform aims to transform the IP asset class of 61 billions of dollars by giving intellectual property holders and IP products the tools to manage, exchange and monetize creative assets.

The launch of Story Protocol follows a six-month test phase which started with the “Iliad” testnet on August 27, 2024. Now, live, its Mainnet provides a decentralized platform where intellectual property owners can establish License and transaction rules without any intermediary.

The network will be secured by the IP token. IP is used for transactions, governance and rewards of the creator. IP owners can register and tokenize their work on blockchain, establish rules on how it can be used, modified or monetized. Developers can create applications on the network, creating new AI tools, license platforms and IP markets.

IP made its debut with an initial offer of 1 billion tokens. A 30 -day award portal has been configured to allow TESTNET participants to claim IP tokens. IP implementation is an option for those who wish to promote network security. The IP’s development phase, called “singularity”, launched on February 1, but the awards will be distributed from March 2.
