Mask Network CEO loses $4m in 11 minutes

Ledger co-founder David Balland released after kidnapping: report

The CEO of Mask Network, Suji Yan, revealed that his public portfolio had been hacked, causing a flight of more than $ 4 million in crypto.

The attack, which lasted about 11 minutes, occurred just a few hours after its 29th birthday celebration. Yan suspects a private key leak or an offline attack during the meeting, where his phone was briefly unattended.

“I was in a private gathering with a dozen friends and my phone was absent for a few minutes when I use the toilet, etc.”, Yan tweeted. “I trust my friends, but it’s a nightmare for anyone.”

Chain data Blockchain analysis companies, including Cyvers and Zachxbt alerts, show that stolen funds – including Eth, Weth, Mask and Tether (USDT) – were transferred to a new address before being exchanged for 1,690 Ethereum (Ethn) and dispersed on six wallets.

Yan has enlisted Slowmist and Zachxbt To help the investigation and cooperate with the authorities.

He said he would not speculate more before experts no longer provide details.
