Pond.fun hacked by insider; Chainalysis and Elliptic tapped to block funds’ withdrawal
Pond.fun, the same corner Launchpad hosted on Linea, was hacked by the project -in -project engineer.
According to Pond.Fun’s Official disclosure on XPond.Fun was hacked this morning, with initial chain and out -of -chain evidence pointing to a software engineer from the Ponde team. The platform has told users to avoid interacting with Pond.Fun in any title, including efrogs and Croak websites, but assured that discord and telegrams are always secure.
The attacker stole the liquidity of the intelligent pond contract. The platform has published a list of main addresses that have received and deposited stolen assets. The total transferred amount was 64.8 Ethereum (Ethn).
Pond.Fun has exploited blockchain and elliptical analysis companies that follow illicit cryptographic transactions, to help prevent stolen funds from passing proof of innocence – because centralized exchanges and other “serious” offers require that users provide Poi under railgun. The non-check not guarantee that the hacker cannot withdraw the funds from Railgun.
The situation echoes the recent Hack of Stablecoin Bank Infini Because it was also done by an initiate. More specifically, the developer who helped to set up the intelligent contract retained the rights of the administration and then used these rights to empty the funds through Tornado Cash (TORN). Infini always works to recover stolen assets. The pirat identified Like the second largest loss in February by Certik.
