Xandeum introduces pNodes to improve Solana’s storage capabilities

Xandeum launched Pnodes, or supplier nodes, in his Devnet to meet the storage limits of Solana.

These nodes will provide a system of scalable decentralized files designed to support heavy data web 3 data applications, according to a note shared with crypto.news.

This evolution addresses one of the Solana (GROUND) Key limitations: the absence of an effective and scalable storage layer for intelligent contracts. While Solana excellent In high -speed transactions and low costs, its architecture is traditional on the validators to store all the data of the program, creating bottlenecks for the apples with high intensity of data.

Xandeum provides a decentralized solution that widens storage capacity without compromising performance. Pnodes works essentially as an additional storage layer for Solana intelligent contracts, allowing transparent integration while guaranteeing data availability and security.

The Xandeum network uses validators to supervise the distribution and integrity of data, reducing storage charges on Solana validators.

The system introduces new Solana primitives such as “PEEK” and “POKE” to facilitate data transfer between Solana accounts and Xandeum storage layer.

South era of Xandeum

The launch marks the start of the southern era of Xandeum, the first of the six innovation phases planned for 2025. During this phase, the project will publish Xandmin, a management tool for Pnode operators and will offer a limited sale of 300 Pnodes Devnet Incities. On the Mainnet, all the nodes will be without permission.

Bernie Blume, CEO of Xandeum Labs, underlined the potential impact: “A solution for decentralized scaling at low cost will considerably extend the global DAPP landscape. It can unlock a new income flow for Pnode operators as well as for the validators and the Bâtants de Solana. ”

This increase could allow new use cases for DEFI, NFTS and decentralized large -scale applications, allowing developers to more easily create heavy data projects while maintaining the speed and efficiency of Solana.
