Pump.fun launches native DEX dubbed PumpSwap

Pump.fun, the Launchpad samecoin on the Solana, announced the launch of Pumpswap, an indigenous decentralized exchange promising an instant token migration, zero costs and increased liquidity.

The Pump.fun team unveiled the new Dex platform on March 20, 2025, noting in a Publish This Pumpswap will now take care of all the Launchpad parts which “complete their liaison curve”.

Pumpswap, built on Solana (GROUND), is a decentralized exchange protocol which will operate in a similar way to Raydium V4 and UNISWAP V2, via its automated constant product market model. The launch of the new DEX platform allows users to create liquidity pools.

Users can also be added to existing pools and exchange all pumping tokens.

“Why did we build this? Since day 1, our goal has been to create the most friction environment for commercial parts. Migration was a major friction – they slow down the momentum and introduce unnecessary complexity for new users,” wrote Pump.fun on X.

The launch of Pumpswap introduces instant migration, which, according to the protocol, will be free, the previous six -soil costs for migration now deleted. Transparent functionality also reduces complexity for new users.

Initially, Pumpswap plans to take costs of 0.25% per exchange, with most, 0.20%, ranging to liquidity suppliers. The others 0.05% will go to the protocol. The distribution of costs will change once the creator income Go live.
