“The Seven Deadly Sins” is a fantastic Japanese series based on the popular manga of Nakaba Suzuki which was published by Kodansha. Located in a fictitious medieval kingdom called Britannia, the anime tells the story of a group of warriors accused of a crime they did not commit. They go in search to erase their names. Led by the leader of the Meliodas group, their adventures for four seasons and some films and original video animations or OVAS.
The NFT on Opensea collection presents the emblematic scene of the film “The Seven Deadly Sins: Maussé by the Light”, where Meliodas and his younger brother Zeldris are seated in the sun, sharing a solemn wish with their sacred chalices. This collection is supported by Startale, which strategically supported the acquisition of this IP by Yoake.
After launching this collection, CBO at Yoake Entertainment, Sota Moriyama said that the company plans to publish more collectible chain theme, in the hope of driving more fandom engagement in web3 space.
“Yoake undertakes to repel the adoption of web3 through the power of culture, and there is no better way to give life to this vision than to present objects of anime under license officially,” Moriyama said in a press release.
Opensea CEO, Devin Finzer, expressed his enthusiasm with regard to collaboration on the theme of Japanese pop culture with Yoake, because it would potentially bring fans of the chain series.
“We are proud to facilitate bringing it of high level franchises like the seven fatal sins directly to fans with Yoake,” said Finzer.
In October of last year, the animoca brands of Japan embarked on a similar company when they released A NFT collection inspired by the popular Japanese Cyberpunk film “Ghost in the Shell”. However, the NFTs were launched on the Trading platform of Animoca Sorah, rather than Opensea.
