Revolut launches mobile crypto app for U.K. and EEA users
The FinTech Platform based in the United Kingdom, Revolut, has unveiled a mobile crypto exchange application for Users in the United Kingdom and the broader European economic domain.
Revolut said in an advertisement that the new application, Revolut X, will allow users of the United Kingdom and the EEA to exchange more than 400 pairs of cryptocurrency and 220 digital tokens directly from the application. The launch of Revolut X occurs while the cryptography market earns a new momentum in an increasing global clarity.
The London -based Neobank initially revealed Revolut X expansion At 30 markets across Europe in November 2024. The deployment followed the launch of the company of the autonomous crypto exchange earlier in the year, the office version mainly targeting professional merchants.
The latest move provides exchange to mobile users in the United Kingdom and EEA. In a comment, Leonid Bashlykov, chief of the crypto in Revolut, said:
“It is a simple but powerful experience, designed to meet the needs of new and experienced merchants, with the additional advantage of rigorous safety measures on which customers can be set up.”
Revolut X marks the culmination of the company’s efforts to develop in cryptographic trading, which began in 2021. After moving the platform in May, Revolut extended access to account holders through the EEA.
In addition to Revolut X, the Neobank – which has more than 45 million users worldwide – has regularly increased its crypto offers since 2017. Revolut has widened these services in June 2023 by introducing cryptographic exploitation for Users of the United Kingdom and EEE. The company also offers a card linked to cryptography.
Although it is not a cryptocurrency company, the expansion of revolut in digital asset products signals its intention to capture the market share in a rapid growth space currently dominated by platforms like Coinbase, Crypto.com and others.
