Balancer v3 launches on Avalanche, boosting liquidity and DeFi flexibility


Balancing has deployed its V3 protocol on Avalanche, marking another expansion in one of the fastest growth ecosystems.

This decision aims to unlock new liquidity opportunities for developers, liquidity suppliers and institutional actors, while strengthening Avalanche (Avax) Center position for decentralized finances and assets of the real tokenized world.

Launched for the first time in December, swing V3 introduces several improvements, notably Boosted Pools and a hook frame that allows developers to personalize liquidity behavior, according to a press release shared with crypto.News.

These upgrades give LPS more control, allowing new trading strategies and pool conceptions.

Voting for balancer governance

This decision has followed governance vote passed unanimously by the community of balancers. It brings the liquidity optimization tools of the protocol to an increasingly used network by institutions such as BlackRock, Franklin Templeton and KKR for the tokenization of assets.

“With the advanced liquidity mechanisms of the V3 balancer, we expect an adoption variety of challenge through the avalanche ecosystem,” said Eric Kang, head of Defi at Ava Labs.

The arrival of the balancer should Protocols of services like Aave And Benqi, who can now access deeper liquidity and new performance strategies. Aave currently has more than $ 500 million of total value locked on avalanche.
