During a political event in Seoul on April 16, Hong declared that he “will dismantle regulations to the extent of the Trump administration point” in order to “promote blockchain and virtual assets as a single industry”, Yonhap News Agency reports.
Hong, a candidate for the presidential primary of the People Power power power, organized a political briefing focused on economics, work and science and technology. There, it would have announced 27 commitments focused on the growth of the private sector, in particular major commitments to future industries such as artificial intelligence, quantum technology and superconductors.
The position of Hong distinguishes it from other candidates by openly connecting the deregulation and development of blockchain with the national economic strategy.
