Mercuryo has launched Passkey, a new biometric connection feature designed to make web 3 quick, safer and easier for users.

The update replaces the traditional unique passing codes with an verification of fingerprints or the face, allowing users to access their accounts with just screen locking, according to a shared note with Crypto.News.

Passkey, developed by the Fido Alliance, stores the encrypted connection identification information directly on the personal device of a user.

Integration will be available on the Mercuryo network of Over 200 partnersincluding the main non -guardian wallets as Trusted wallet. Users on iPhone, Android and Windows can use PASSKEY to authenticate their identity safely and in a transparent manner.

Secure digital payments

When connecting, the device proves the property of this server identification information, eliminating the need for passwords or OTPs sent by SMS or E-mail, which are vulnerable to phishing and malware attacks.
