Bitget joins India’s I4C Sahyog Portal to support digital asset law enforcement
Bitget has joined the Sahyog portal of India under the I4C, becoming the last global crypto exchange to support the application of Indian law with rationalized access to user data and transaction records.
According to an official press release On June 23, Bitget has officially joined the Coordination Center for Indian Cybercrime (I4C) to support law enforcement organizations with digital surveys and compliance.
Integration will allow the Indian authorities to submit data requests directly via the centralized platform under the relevant provisions of Indian law, such as article 94 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and article 79 (3) (b) (B) of the Information Technologies Act.
“The regulatory and application landscape of India around digital assets is evolving quickly and aligns with initiatives such as Sahyog highlights a step forward.” said Hon Ng, legal director at Bitget.
The SAHYOG portal, launched by the I4C, serves as a unified interface to the police to raise and manage legal requests linked to digital platforms. The portal allows authorities to access transaction records, user data and other digital evidence required for I4C investigations.
