On December 30, 2024, the Crypto-Sets, or Mica regulation markets entered into force. He established the first unified legal framework for cryptocurrency operations in history, covering consumer protection, disclosure, licenses and stablecoin issuance.
Attachment (USDT), has not yet obtained a Mica license, a decision which is already led to crimes by platforms such as Coinbase and Crypto.com. Binance, faced with regulatory challenges in several jurisdictions, is also absent from the approved list.
Angoung Le Stablecoine is now now sitting under Circra or Educ Circle, ASTC CIRV), Société, enemies enemies (EUTDS). MOST allowed Stablecoins are called in euros, although several US dollars and a Koruna Czech token are also listed.
Despite progress, no business has registered to issue tokens referenced on assets, which are stablecoins set at an asset basket. According to EU officials, under current costs and regulations, the lack of candidates for art indicates low demand on the market.
The regulators have also reported more than 35 crypto companies as non -compliant cities, the Consob Italian regulator leading application Acts. Meanwhile, cryptographic media throughout Western Europe have been adopted by changes and policies of research algorithms aligned on mica.
While more and more companies are rushing to meet the strict requirement for disclosure and compliance of Mica, the next license update is scheduled for nine months at the end of September.
