ProShares Ultra XRP ETF approved for NYSE Arca listing
Proshares was approved to list sound ETF ultra XRP on Nyse Arca, with the trade that starts at the end of this week.
By a July 14 deposit With the Securities and Exchange Commission, NYSE Arca certified the registration and recording of the ultra XRP ETF proshares under the Ticker UXRP.
As a preliminary basis, the fund was registered on the eligibility list of the Trust and Clearing Corporation earlier this month. During writing, a product page for the fund was already live, but trading has not yet started.
The ultra XRP proshares ETF is a lever -based product -based product designed to provide 2x the daily return of an XRP index. Instead of directly holding XRP, the fund wins in exposure through derivatives such as term contracts and exchange agreements. As such, investors are able to amplify the daily movements of XRP prices without having the underlying asset.
As before reported By crypto.News, Proshares initially disclosed plans to deploy two funds related to additional XRP, the Court ETF XRP (XRPS), targeting daily performance -1x and ETF XRP Ultrashort (RIPS), which is looking for exposure to -2x.
These two inverse products are designed to provide the opposite of XRP’s daily yields. For example, the -1x fund will increase when the price of XRP drops from an equivalent percentage on the same day.
However, none of these funds appeared on the DTCC list, and both remain pending for operational authorization.
