NFT sales drop 33% to $119.5m, Pudgy Penguins still in lead
The NFT market has suddenly fell back alongside a wider crypto sale, the bitcoin falling at $ 96,000 and Ethereum amounting to $ 2,600.
The latest data shows that the overall market capitalization of cryptography contracted at 3.13 billions of dollars compared to 3.5 billions of dollars last week.
According to Cryptoslam Data, NFT markets have cooled this week as prices and commercial activities have dropped. The total volume of sales reached $ 119.5 million – a drop of 33% compared to the activity of the previous week.
Market data show a continuous decline in trading:
- NFT sales volume fell to $ 119.5 million, compared to $ 137.9 million
- Wash trading on Ethereum (Ethn) decreased by 58.47% to 23.7 million dollars
- Total NFT transactions have decreased, most major collections seeing a lower activity
Network activity shows mixed results
Ethereum remains the main channel with $ 62.6 million in sales despite a decrease of 38.43%. The network has seen the number of buyers drop from 71.26% to 16,852, while Wash Trading decreased to 23.7 million dollars.
The mythos chain went second with $ 13.9 million in sales, increasing 4.66%. Solana (GROUND) occupied the third position with $ 11.0 million, down 32.56%.
Polygon (Police) and Bitcoin (BTC) completed the top five with $ 8.1 million and $ 6.7 million, respectively, Bitcoin observing a drop of 71.31%.

Grassin penguins keep lead
Grassouillant penguins maintained its advance despite the reduction in sales of 37.55% to $ 9.1 million. The collection has experienced a constant interest in buyers with 172 participants, although transactions dropped by 2.07%.
Dmarket took second place with $ 8.7 million, increasing 7.98% and now a high volume with 322,241 transactions. The Court strengthened its position in third with $ 7.3 million, increasing 25.78% and attracting 10,935 buyers.
Cryptopunks fell into fourth position with $ 5.2 million, down 30.01%, while Zeuki fell in the fifth with $ 5 million, seeing a drop in sales of 79.17%.
