Blockaid new dashboard to track Web3 activity and threats

Blockaid, a blockchain security company, has launched its State of the Chain dashboard.

This dashboard is an interactive tool providing a detailed view of Web3 activity and threats from 2024, according to a press release shared with crypto.news. The dashboard leverages data from Blockaid’s on-chain detection and response platform, which analyzed billions of transactions over the course of the year.

The platform has processed 2.41 billion transactions, 780 million decentralized application connections and 220 million tokens in 2024. It highlights trends such as transaction volumes and security risks while identifying common threats such as scams and malicious tokens.

71 million potential attacks prevented

Key findings from the press release include the prevention of 71 million potential attacks by Blockaid’s systems. Despite these efforts, cryptocurrency scams caused $1.4 billion in user losses last year.

The data also reveals that 59.3% of new tokens launched in 2024 were identified as malicious, with rug pulling scams – where developers disappear after raising funds – representing 27% of these tokens.

Quarterly dashboard updates aim to keep users informed of business changes and Web3 risks. By providing data on scams and threats, the tool seeks to help organizations and users better navigate the growing Web3 space.
