Kraken says US agencies made up nearly 30% of all data requests in 2024


Crypto Exchange Kraken reported an increase of 38.6% of the global requests for data application and regulation data in 2024 compared to 2023.

Of the total of 6,826 requests that Kraken received in 2024, data was provided for 57% of them, according to the report. Most requests concerned accounts located in the United States (34.5%), the United Kingdom (8.8%) and Germany (8.5%).
