Strategy to raise $21b via STRK stock for new Bitcoin buying spree

MicroStrategy buys another $1.1b Bitcoin

The strategy is to plan additional capital increases to finance Bitcoin purchases despite the recent market sliding and macro uncertainty.

The strategy, previously known as Microstrategy, plans to raise $ 21 billion thanks to its privileged class A strike actions while the company seeks to strengthen its investment portfolio. According to a deposit with the American securities commission and a business statementThe strategy will use the sales product to finance the general operations of companies, which could include more bitcoin (BTC) bought.

Offering STRK shares via a sales sale to the market is added to the existing ATM action program for the “21/21” roadmap, a plan to increase and invest $ 42 billion in BTC defended by executive president Michael Saylor.

Currently, Saylor’s company has around 499,096 BTC worth more than $ 41 billion. The strategy spent around $ 33.1 billion to acquire this massive BTC cache at an average price of $ 66,357, mainly funded by the capital raised by stock sales.

Strk, which is a perpetual privileged action, adds a new layer of flexibility for the strategy because it continues to buy BTC thanks to sales of action.

Perpetual privileged actions are not linked to a due date or a fixed buyout period such as obligations. Instead, vehicles like Strk pay a predetermined dividend to perpetuity, 8% in the case of the strategy, while the issuer remains in business. STRK investors can also exchange their assets for ordinary class A actions, although this process implies specific requirements and conditions.

In addition, the strategy can exercise a buy -back option for insufficient total allowance if the value of Strk decreases 25% below its initial value to the issue.

TradingView Data noted that Strk was down 2.1% at last week’s fence. The strategy has not seen a new patronage for its ordinary class A actions between March 3 and March 7, which means that the company will probably not disclose a new BTC acquisition this week.
