Oku brings Bitcoin-backed lending and borrowing on Corn Network with Morpho
Oku allowed loans and borrowing supported by BTC on Corn Network, powered by Morpho, unlocking a new DEFI utility for Bitcoin holders.
On April 17, Oku announced the launch of the Morpho protocol on Corn Network, opening a new border for Bitcoin (BTC) Users to get involved in overcrowded loans using BTCN token, on Bitcoin native of Corn. BTCN is fixed 1: 1 with BTC and is supported by Bitcoin Ponted reserves designed for transverse functionality.
This marks the first deployment of a major decentralized loan protocol on corn, a network focused on the BTCFI propelled by the Arbitrum Orbit technological battery. Thanks to the deployment of morpho on corn, users acquire the possibility of:
- Borrow assets using guarantees supported by BTC.
- Win the yields on Bitcoin Holdings via the Morpho loan markets.
- Access to dynamic and adjusted interest rates on the market.
- Keep full control of their assets via a non -guardian model.
“This integration creates a powerful base for Bitcoin supported loans which maintains security while unlocking a new Bitcoin utility in the wider DEFI landscape,” said Spadaboom, co-founder of Corn.
Integration combines the Decentralized Loan Protocol of Morpho, native of corn bitcoin Challenge Network powered by BTCN, OKU’s intuitive interface and the safes organized by Steakhouse Financial.
“The OKU team is delighted to collaborate with Corn, Morpho and Steakhouse Financial to advance BTCFI,” said Getty, CEO of Oku.
Users can now access Morpho on corn via OKU interface. Integration supports a range of assets, all transactions operating on BTCN as a gas token.
“Morpho is the most effective loan protocol on Ethereum. Bringing this effectiveness to Bitcoin holders through corn is a natural evolution,” Kirk, head of governance in Morpho Labs, told.
Corn Network is launching a one -year corn incentive program for users of the Morpho protocol. This initiative starts in the Cornfields S1 campaign, with a strong accent on the main markets such as loan / loans and liquidity DEX.
