Ethereum Foundation new co-executive responds to Vitalik Buterin’s latest RISC-V proposal

The new co-executive director of the Ethereum Foundation, Tomasz K. Stańczak, says that Buterin’s proposals are supposed to arouse discussions and invite a meticulous examination concerning the objectives and future breakthroughs of the network.

In a recent job following Buterin previous proposal on the replacement of Ethereum (Ethn) Virtual machine with RISC-V To improve long-term scalability, Stańczak said that as a change in leadership, the Foundation will go from research and development to the implementation of layer 1 scale, from layer 2 management, optimization of user experience and interoperability.

However, he took the opportunity to remind the members of the community that Buerin’s proposals have a significant impact, they are designed to trigger conversations and should not be treated as final decisions. In fact, he stressed that the community could very well refine the proposals or even reject them.

“I want to clarify that Vitalik’s proposals will always gain weight, but they are intended to start conversations and encourage progress in difficult research fields,” said Stains.
