Ledger users can now spend crypto directly via new MasterCard-backed card

LEDGER, MERCURYO and MASTERCARD have teamed up to launch a credit card allowing users to spend the token balances directly from their large book material portfolio.

Large book users will soon be able to spend their token balance anywhere in the world. On Wednesday, April 23, Mercuryo launched the expense card, fed by Mastercard. The debit card is compatible with large book devices and automatically converts the Fiat tokens balances whenever users make a card payment.

This indeed means that users of large books will be able to spend their assets in cryptography without converting them manually into a Fiat. At the same time, they will not need to count on the exchanges of Crypto, some of which offer similar services, allowing them to keep their funds full.

Ledger, Mercuryo and Mastercard share the same vision of the use of advanced technology to offer a transparent user experience, which makes this partnership perfectly suited. »Petr Kozyakov, co-founder and CEO of Mercuryo.

MasterCard brings the overall scope to the material portfolios of the big book

Thanks to its partnership with Mastercard, the Speating card will be accepted by more than 150 million merchants in the global payment provider network. In addition, the card can be added to Apple Pay and Google Pay, which adds another layer of convenience and safety.

“The card programs that offer the possibility of integrating directly into the self-care gives users the best possible experience. The expenditure card, associated with the power of the global Mastercard payments network, will bring more choice to large book users to spend their crypto,” said Jean-François Rochet, executive vice-president of consumption services.

The card will also benefit from MasterCard consumer protections. This means that users who get false costs on the card will recover the funds. However, this comes to a compromise, because users will have to pass the KYC / AML checks in order to obtain the necessary approval for the debit card.
