Dark stablecoins will emerge, here’s why

WLFI confirms launch of USD1 stablecoin backed by U.S. treasuries

The CEO of Cryptoque Ki Young Ju predicts the rise of “dark stables” as government regulations on digital currencies are tightening.

In a recent Social media messageJu has shared why stable -resistant stable -to censorship could become necessary as traditional Stablecoin issuers face a meticulous examination.

According to Ju, while Bitcoin (BTC) has been designed to be resistant to censorship by the Cypherpunk community, the stablecoins currently need centralized management to fill digital and traditional finance.

Chinese minors use stables of attachment and circle

The cryptocurrency executive stressed that stablecoins like those issued by Tether and Circle have worked with a minimum of government interference – so far. According to Ju, it served as a refuge for various groups, including Chinese minors.

“Governments, except during the fight against money laundering, did not really interfere with the stablecoins,” said Ju. Ju provides that the Stablecoins issued by the government will soon face regulations similar to the traditional bank. This could potentially require a collection of automatic taxes thanks to intelligent contracts and the implementation of genders according to government mandates.

These modifications could encourage users who rely on stablescoins for large international transfers to search for alternatives that resist censorship. How? Ju presents two ways:

1. Algorithmic stablecoins which are not controlled by governments.

2. Stablecoins issued by countries that do not censor financial transactions.

A technical approach could include decentralized stables which follow regulated parts such as the USD part using Oracle networks such as ChainLink (LINK). However, Ju said that he had not yet identified projects that have managed to implement this model.

Interestingly, Ju suggested that the USDT could turn into a dark stablecoin if the company chooses not to comply with American regulations under future administrations. The CEO of Crypttoque noted that dark assets could present investment opportunities in the Internet capital markets.
