Circle to launch gateway for unified USDC access across blockchains

Circle's EURC hits record $246M supply as traders flee the dollar

Circle presents a new transverse system to simplify the way the USDC moves through different blockchains.

According to a July 1st press releaseUSD part (USDC) Stablecoin transmitter Circle Prepares to deploy Gateway, a new layer of infrastructure which allows an instant intermediate intermediate liquidity without the need for traditional bridging.

The system aims to solve the fragmentation of liquidity and user experience problems caused by isolated blockchain networks.

In the current configuration, USDC users on a network cannot access it on another without puncture. This creates a friction for individuals and operational ineffectiveness for companies that must prefer and manage sales on several channels.

To attack it, Gateway introduces a non -guardian intelligent contract which allows users to deposit the USDC in a unified balance. This balance can then be accessible in real time on supported networks, without transfers of manual assets or network switching.

“Today’s multi -hole landscape poses fundamental challenges to traditional adoption, the declaration read.” Gateway allows you to create experiences where access to the USDC is really instantaneous, universal and agnostic in chain, while users retain full ownership and control of their assets. »»

For companies, Gateway reduces the need to maintain USDC sales on several channels by allowing liquidity on demand on supported channels, which can improve capital efficiency and reduce operational costs.

The CEO CEO, Jeremy Allaire, described the system as “UX totally transparent for USDC”, adding that the launch comes “just in time for the traditional adoption of Stablecoin money”.

The testnet support for Gateway should be posted in July on Ethereum, Avalanche and Base, with additional channels to follow.

Meanwhile, Circle recently applied For a national charter of the trust bank of the US office of the currency controller, requesting authorization to manage the reservations to support the USDC and to offer digital asset care services to institutional customers.
